How do I use PerioTrap® Microbiome Toothpaste correctly?
Brush your teeth twice a day for 2-3 minutes. Spit out the toothpaste after brushing, but do not rinse with water so that the active ingredients can work on your teeth and gums for longer.
Should I rinse after brushing?
No. Just spit it out. By not rinsing, the active ingredients remain in the mouth longer and can optimally protect the gums.
How exactly does the PerioTrap® technology work?
The technology selectively blocks the virulence of harmful bacteria — especially P. gingivalis, a major cause of gum inflammation. This preserves the healthy microbiome and its natural protective function.
Does the toothpaste also protect against periodontitis and gingivitis?
Yes, it actively supports gum health. By specifically blocking harmful bacteria and through its soothing ingredients, it reduces the risk of gum inflammation and periodontal stress.
What ingredients are included – and why?

Does the toothpaste contain fluoride?
Yes, it contains 1450 ppm fluoride, the recommended concentration for effective caries protection in adulthood.
Is it microbiome-friendly, vegan, and free from unnecessary additives?
